ENA stands for Eglantine & Alberto — two winemakers and life partners brought together by a passion for wine, a love of nature, and the dream of building something lasting together.

In 2019, while living in Northern California, we founded ENA Winemakers and released our first wines. That adventure planted the seed for something deeper — a place to root ourselves, grow our own vines, and share our passion with others. After exploring regions in Italy and France, we fell in love with Barbera and the rolling hills of Monferrato. We knew this was home.

Today, Tenuta ENA is becoming the place we always dreamed of: a family-owned winery and agriturismo, where we grow Barbera, Nebbiolo, and Cortese, raise our children, and invite others to experience the peaceful rhythm of vineyard life.

We believe in letting the land speak. We farm with care and intention, using sustainable and organic practices, and we vinify with minimal intervention to preserve the energy, purity, and character of the fruit.

Maison ENA, our agriturismo in the making, is part of that vision — a place to slow down, stay among the vines, taste our wines, and feel at home in the hills of Monferrato. A space to share our story, enjoy time together, and connect over a glass of wine.

Eglantine & Alberto

Eglantine grew up in Provence, surrounded by vineyards, lavender fields, and Mediterranean light. She studied agronomy and enology and developed a deep curiosity for the senses — especially smell and taste — and the way wine can evoke memory and emotion. Her winemaking style is precise, expressive, and deeply intuitive.

Alberto was born in Milan, far from the vines but captivated early by fermentation and the quiet magic of transformation. He studied viticulture and winemaking in Milan, Turin, and Lisbon, and traveled widely to hone his craft. He brings structure, clarity, and technical depth to every step of the process.

Together, we balance each other — one more instinctive, the other more analytical — but always aligned in our love for authenticity, generosity, and beauty in simplicity. Our wines reflect that balance: honest, elegant, and made to be shared.

We’re not just building a winery. We’re creating a life — and a place — where wine, land, and people meet.

We’d love to welcome you here.
